Clean restaurant, friendly staff and fast service. My roommate swears by the #9 which is the Italian Club with hot peppers. It's his favorite sandwich. Since I'm not a big fan of Jimmy, he takes advantage of enjoying this sammie when I'm working and he is off. I haven't found a favorite, I've tried the #10 Hunters Club, #12 Beach Club and #13 Gourmet Veggie Club. Just like Subway, I find the bread to overwhelming. What also scares me about these sandwiches is the nutritional information. The sodium and carbohydrates are through the roof. If I want a deli sandwich, I'd rather go to two other "local" deli's that are located in my hood.

Not at all "freaky fast"(45 min.) but it was "freaky good".

I'm too excited upon pulling up to the drive-thru of this place to even notice if the customer service is shitty. I'm trembling with excitement that a) I get to eat Jimmy John's and b) I don't even have to get out of my car to do so. Whenever I think my life sucks, I remember that this place exists and that I can go there any Goddamn time I want and then I realize that my life is amazing. The teenagers here better never call me sir, call me a douche bag, or not turn their music down, though. Or else I might have to get my fat ass out of my car and come in and teach them some manners or wash their mouths out with soap or some shit like that. In fact, I'll probably do that the next time I'm there as a courtesy to the Yelpers who have come before me who have been disrespected by these trust fund teeny boppers. They won't be upset, though. They work at a fricking Jimmy John's. They are probably expecting bad things to happen to them, because shit, their lives can't get any BETTER. To Summarize: -I think I had a shitty day, but I can't remember, because I'm eating Jimmy John's right now, and it was passed to me through the window of my car, and although that makes me feel lazy, which makes me feel bad about myself, I also feel good about myself for making the excellent decision to go to Jimmy Johns, and also for living in a country where Jimmy Johns exists and has drive thru windows, and also makes me feel good that I am appreciative of these things and not, you know, taking them for granted. Wait... what was the question again?

I was a little surprised by the reviews below for this store. This store is brand new and is bound to have some kinks. I have always been greeted with prompt and courteous service from this store. The store has always been clean and pleasant to sit down and enjoy my lunch. Food has always been fresh. Bottom line: If you have a problem - ask. If you have a complaint, talk to the manager. Get your issues resolved before writing a bad review. I love this place for lunch. Unwich it!

Stopped by this location to pick up a picnic dinner. We get to our picnic site and the subs weren't what we had ordered. They also hadn't given us a receipt. They weren't busy at the time and our order wasn't complicated. Very disappointed with this Jimmy Johns!

This location is generally pretty good. They listen to the order and make the food freaky fast, as promised. I've never used their delivery service so I can't speak about that. I usually go through the drive-thru. Workers are usually nice. No complaints.

I was so excited when I saw this place was opening. Thrilled. A drive-thru! Right by my house! Hallelujah! I was dead wrong. On so many levels. Stay the hell away from this location. I don't care if you're famished and there's nowhere else to eat. Stand on Chippewa and chew on the grass outside. Just stay away from this place. The attitude and immaturity of the teenage staff they hired here is...I really have no words for it. While ordering, I asked for my bread to please be left intact, as that's something I've always requested at every Jimmy John's I go to, with no problems, no questions asked. Except I got serious attitude here from the assembly line. "Too bad, already started making yours." Seriously? 1) I wasn't even done ordering, and 2) I know that you pride yourselves on being "freaky fast", but it's not like I was the last sandwich of the night. Just put your precious scooped-out bread off to the side for the next customer, and cut me a new piece. It would've taken five seconds. Not that hard. To finish my order, I literally had to pick my jaw up from off the floor and pull my eyebrows back down to my face before finishing my sentence. I sit down to try and enjoy my sandwich, next to an elderly couple and their grandchildren. About five minutes into my meal, the music starts randomly blasting at outrageous decibels. Okay, I've been to a Jimmy John's at 4 in the morning before. They're usually playing loud music to stay awake, it's cool, I get it. But not at a volume that makes your ears ring, as it was here. And this was 6 pm on a weeknight. The grandparents--whom I'm sure were probably already hard of hearing to begin with anyway, so you know the music was really loud--get up and politely ask them to please turn down the volume a little bit. What do the uppity teenagers do? THEY ROLLED THEIR EYES AT THE COUPLE AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I fear for the future of America. The Jimmy John's I used to go to, back in Central West End, is open till 4 am. I was going to inquire as to how late this one stays open, to feed my all-nighter study sessions, but you know what, I really don't want to know. I'd rather starve. Little shop of teenage horrors.

One of my favorite locations. Also, if you get delivery, ask for matt. He is awesome.

Service is all over the board---food is great. Jimmy Johns...is Jimmy Johns. Great sandwiches. The problem is that my buddy ordered a delivery to my house last Saturday afternoon... 48 minutes later as he is getting dressed for a wedding, he looks at me and says "where the hell is our food?" So I call them ask politely, "did our food leave yet...just thought I'd call back and see what's up?" JJ: "Yeah, our credit card system was acting up when he called and we didn't know how to get a hold of you..." Me: "Hmm. Well, you have my number and my address on file, because you just asked me what my number was to look up my order." JJ: "Yeah, sorry about that..." We tested the second delivery today...it was under 12 minutes. Not bad! The food is Jimmy Johns, but the service is really immature and I guess run by teenagers? I do fully expect the less amitious to be working here...it comes with the nature of the business these days. But to not even call us back and tell us you couldn't confirm his credit card so you just didn't deliver or call...is ridiculous. Will eat here in person, but stay away from the delivery if you don't have time to roll the dice. Geez.

They get NO stars from me! Went here today and was meeting my boyfriend. I had already ordered and was sitting down, waiting. As he pulled up and got out of his car, one of the punks behind the counter pointed and said, "Look at this douchebag. Who does he think he is?" Oh Hell no. I tried to talk to the manager. You know what happened? Every employee along the way stopped me, blew off our complaint with a, "I'll let him know." Even when he did find out, he laughed it off and never came to talk to us. As we were leaving, I approached the counter to ask for corporates number, and the damn manager called me a sir! I am a woman! With breasts! And a purse! Are you flipping kidding me?! Worst of it, he was laughing and so were the two teenage girls standing by him. I am working on getting every punk in there today fired so hopefully no one else can be subjected to this piss-poor excuse of customer service. What a joke. Save your money and go somewhere else!

This JJ just opened... I don't know the exact date but it seems like it was this month (August 2012). Considering that, and that JJ is a chain sub shop normally staffed by teenagers, I didn't set my expectations super high. And overall I was pleasantly surprised. My first visit was via the drive-thru. It's the first JJ I've ever been to with a drive-thru. The employee on the intercom was friendly and even a little funny, and the food came out super fast. Orders were correct. Nothing to complain about here. My second visit was in store. The register employee needed some training. After taking payment he handed us cups and then just stopped talking. We've been to many JJ before, so we knew to sit and wait for sandwiches, but a new customer would have definitely felt like they were left hanging. Not a huge deal since he was probably on his first week. Then my sandwich came out on the wrong bread. Honestly, I didn't know if I ordered it wrong or the employee rang it up wrong, so I was asking in a very polite tone. The first employee I pointed it out to told me that's how it was rang up, more or less telling me to just deal with it. Luckily a second employee quickly cut him off and said he'd fix it, no problem. 60 seconds later I had a new sandwich. So it's not perfect... the staff needs a training but that is to be expected when a shop first opens. Will JJ replace Mom's or LeGrands or Macklind Ave Deli for my sandwich fix? No. But sometimes you want a sandwich and you don't want to wait, and that's where Jimmy John's comes in.

Mmm, not sure why the reviews are so poor. I have been inside once to order a sandwich and thought the service was great. However, I tend to order in more and find the delivery guy to be one of the nicest people ever. He had forgotten the soda my husband ordered and stopped at a gas station prior to delivering our sandwiches in order to arrive at our door with our complete order which was extremely thoughtful and not necessary or at least not for us. That's what i call great service! Thanks delivery friend, we hope to see you again at our door! :)
